Prior to becoming a Certified Havening Practitioner and NLP Master Practitioner, Louise worked for many years in community based services in the British NHS.
These nursing posts ranged from nursing terminally ill patients in their own homes to running busy child and family health clinics. Including managing a wide range of community and hospital based services.
Louise has always had an interest in furthering education and practise development as a Community Practice Teacher, Primary Care GP Tutor, and with the re-organization of the NHS was one of the first appointed nurse members of Primary Care Trust Executive Committee.
Louise has always chosen to work in challenging areas and in the mid 1980’s was one of the first co-ordinators of the national Care of Next Infant (CONI) scheme which supported families who had experienced a sudden infant death, and staff members working with child and family bereavement.
As Designated Nurse for Safeguarding Children for a London Borough she held a strategic post that had service development, staff support and education and training responsibilities, working with the Police, Education and Social Services departments.
Louise has always had an interest in under developing countries and in the mid 1980’s was Vice Chair of War on Want, an international development agency.
This led her to becoming a Board Member of a small charity in the 1990’s which supported the development and financing of small scale loan schemes and micro-enterprises, linking with health, agriculture projects community development and training programmes with local partners in West Africa, supported by European Union Funding.
Louise is honoured to be amongst the first 25 Certified Havening Practitioners accredited in the world, and one of the first Certified Havening Trainers.
In making the transition from ‘normal ‘ health service work to healing therapies, Louise has been privileged to have been trained by some of the worlds leading trainers in their field. NLP training with Dr Richard Bandler, John Grinder, Paul McKenna, John and Kathleen La Valle and Steve Payne.
